Sir Ivan Fire Recovery Centre
A disaster recovery centre to help residents affected by the Sir Ivan Fire will open from, Saturday 18 February 2017.

Location: Rear of Coolah Library
Address: 57 Binnia Street, Coolah (next to Coolah Council Chambers)
Dates: Saturday 18 February until Sunday 26 February, 2017
Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm each day
Parking: Binnia Street, Coolah, off-street parking is also available in Martin Street, Coolah

The Centre’s days and hours of operation will continue to be assessed on a daily basis as required.

For those requiring assistance, representatives from key welfare, business and insurance agencies will be in attendance or via referral from the site to provide help, advice and information to affected residents and business .

The agencies represented will include:
· Warrumbungle Shire Council
· Disaster Welfare Service
· Department of Family and Community Services – Housing
· NSW Health
· Legal Aid NSW
· SafeWork NSW
· NSW Department of Primary Industries – Rural Resilience
· Red Cross
· Insurance Council of Australia





An information point has been established at the Coolah Sports Club. NSW RFS community liaison members are available to provide information and updates to residents during the day.


There is a community information point at the Cooyal Rural Fire Brigade shed on Wollar Road, Cooyal. This information point will be open from 8am til 8pm daily



Trolleys are at Gulgong IGA, Rylstone Foodworks and Mudgee Woolworths to donate non perishable food items
