$400,000 for youth of the region

Youth of the Mid-Western Region will see a range of new youth forums, Youth Week activities, school holiday activities, youth employment expos and a range of other events, following more than $400k of funding from the State Government.

A two-year program aimed at youth has been funded from the NSW Government’s Stronger Country Communities Fund.

Member for Dubbo Dugald Saunders says that It’s expected that over the two years there will be more than 13,000 total participants in the activities that are rolled out.

Mid-Western Regional Council mayor Des Kennedy welcomed the grant funding that will support youth in the region with work readiness and connectivity.
