Local land services across the Central Tablelands are stepping up the hunt of wild animals.

Land holders are combining their efforts to roll out an Autumn Baiting program, to address the increased threat of wild dogs and other animals.

Following the major bushfires and on-going drought that’s hit the region hard; landowners have reported an increase in pests.

Wild animals have relocated from the affected areas – including Gospers Mountain.

The aim of the baiting program is to control pest activity, to aid in wildlife protection and agricultural recovery.
