The next Grattai CWA meeting will be held on Wednesday 19 February from 10am at the Grattai CWA Hall, corner Hill End and Windeyer Roads, Grattai

There will be no Grattai CWA meeting in December or January.

Charity Auction for Baby Eli

A charity auction for baby Eli will be held on Saturday 21 December from 12pm til 5pm at the Prince of Wales Hotel Gulgong. This is a charity auction to help raise funds to continue treatment of baby Elijah born at 26 weeks gestation in Philippines. Elijah is in desperate need of treatment to give him a fighting chance and his hospital bills are already at a whopping $155,000 Australian dollars after just 15 weeks. 

He has a long road ahead and his grandparents in Australia have used all of their savings and superannuation plus re mortgaged their home to cover the $115,000 they have already paid. with a $40,000 outstanding bill the hospital is threatening to stop treatment.

Eastend Bus services will be running a bus from Mudgee and return for $25 per seat with all proceeds being donated to Eli. Tickets can be purchased from Katrina Curry Hairdressing in Mudgee. There will be live music by Nick Wall and Wicked Whiskey. free nibbles and lucky door prizes. plus many many great prizes up for grabs.

'A Merry Little Christmas' - Cudgeong Choir

2019 Mudgee Showground Carols is on Saturday 14 December from 4pm at Mudgee Showground

Organised by the Rotary Clubs of Mudgee and Mudgee Sunrise, this family friendly annual event is not to be missed. With Santa arriving in a helicopter, entertainment including two amazing bands playing, Sugarfoot and Brad Meyers and a fireworks display
 
Gates open to the public at 4pm. Held at the Mudgee Showground, entry via Nicholson and Douro Streets.

Please note this event is an ALCOHOL-FREE EVENT.

Little Things Grow; Ladies, Christmas Kokedama Workshop is on Sunday December 1 from 2pm-4pm at Gulgong Presbyterian Church 46 Bayly Street.
The event is free.

Ladies are invited to an afternoon workshop for making beautiful Christmas themed Kokedama. We'll show you the steps to making kokedama as a Christmas gift, as well as sharing afternoon tea and hearing about the topic; Little Things Grow and what God has to offer us.

What is a Kokedama?  Kokedama is a ball of soil, covered with moss, on which an ornamental plant grows. The idea has its origins in Japan, where it is a combination of the nearai bonsai and kusamono planting styles.)

Today, Kokedama is very popular to display around your home and garden. They will make a great Christmas display or gift too!

Family Bush Dance

Family Bush Dance at St Johns Anglican Church, Mudgee on Saturday November 30 from 7pm to 10pm in the Parish Hall., 

Get out those dancing boots, invite your friends and kick up your heels to the music and calling by 'Stringy Bark Band. Come and join in this fun family evening. 

Adults $10, Children $5 (school age); price includes a light supper. Bookings are preferred for catering.

2019 Toy Run

The 2019 Toy Run is on Saturday November 30; Car/Bike Show and Dice Run. 

Gather at Council Carpark off Short Street, Registrations from 9am, show entries close at 10am. Santa arrives at 10.30am with Parade through Mudgee at 11am. 

The cost of the registration for the Dice Run is $20 + plenty of all day fuyn. 

All funds raised and toys collected to Mudgee St Vincent De Paul and Barnados for local distribution only.
