The last Rylstone Artisan & Produce Market for 2017 will be held on Saturday the 9th of December at the Rylstone Memorial Hall between 9am and 1pm

If you're stuck for ideas on what to grab your friends or loved ones for Christmas don't despair as the talented artisans and producers of the Rylstone area and surrounds will be able to help you out!

The Baird Institute Christmas Ball that was due to be held this Sunday has been cancelled. 

The organisers apologise for any inconvenience. The Ball will return again sometime in 2018.

Christmas at Cooyal

It's all happening at Cooyal this festive season. 

  • On Saturday 25th of November at 4pm a Gala Night at Old Cooyal Hotel will be held, it'll include entertainment, raffles, a BBQ and a chocolate wheel. Donations for the raffle will be placed in the basket at the hotel. All proceeds will go to the Cooyal Community. 
  • A Christmas Service will be held at St Andrew's Church in Cooyal on Sunday 3rd of December at 10am. Please bring party food and drink to share afterwards. 
  • Cooyal Hall Christmas Tree is on Saturday 2nd of December and Santa arrives at 6pm. Parents please bring a plate of party food and a gift for each child to the value of $10 only. Luky door prize, chocolate wheel, toys, hams, chickens and wines to be won. Enquiries should be made to Joyce on 6373 5211.   


Rylstone Public School P&C 100 Club Raffle

Rylstone Public School P&C 100 Club Raffle was drawn on 28th October 2017 at the Rylstone Street Feast.

First prize of $4,000 went to Peter Thompson. Second to tenth prizes of $100 went to; Mudgee Honda Centre, Mudgee Glass,Solar Pumping Solutions, Michael Gordon- Sydney Roosters, Jack O'Toole, Wildcats, Shannon and Darren Morris, Josh Smith and Jim Guilfoyle. 

Rylstone Public School P And C would really like to thank the community who got involved with this terrific fundraiser.

Ernie Constance at Ilford Hall

Ernie Constance will be performing live at Ilford Hall on Sunday 26th of November at 1pm. A sausage sizzle will be available from 12pm for $4.

Afternoon supper at $4, cold drinks $1.50 with free tea & coffee all afternoon. 

Tickets are $20 and will b for sale at the door. There will be a raffle and a lucky door prize. All proceeds from this event will be going to the Kandos Community Charity Shop Building Fund

Cudgegong Combined Churches Community Christmas Lunch is on Monday 25th of December from 11:30am for a 12pm seating at Mudgee Baptist Church, Bruce Rd Mudgee.
 
It's on for anyone in the community who might be on their own at Christmas, or would just like to join us to celebrate Christmas, the combined churches of Mudgee would like to invite you to our Community Christmas Lunch on Christmas Day. Gulgong Rural Fire Brigade General Meeting

Gulgong Rural Fire Brigade will be holding a General Meeting for all brigade members on the Monday 27 November, starts at 7:30 pm. It'll be held at the Gulgong Rural Fire Station, Rouse Street, Gulgong.

Areas for discussion include fundraising, administrative, training and operational matters for the brigade. The meeting is open to both active operational and support members. Bring along your ideas and take the opportunity to get involved.

"The Angina Monologues" - Gulgong Music and Dramatic Society

Gulgong Music and Dramatic Society are proud to present their latest stage production just in time for Christmas. Grab a friend and head down to the Prince of Wales Opera House to see "The Angina Monologues", a hilarious new comedy written by Peter Barnett. 

For two nights only, Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd December starting at 7.30pm. Tickets are available at gulgongmads.com.au or over the counter at the Mudgee Guardian Office and the Gulgong Post Office. Tickets are $30 and include a gourmet grazing table at interval.
