Free family activities will be available at the tenth annual Rylstone Kandos Family Fun Day on Wednesday 9 October. Hosted by Council and the Rylstone and Kandos Interagency, the day is a showcase of local services and community activities. The Family Fun Day has become a feature event on the local calendar.

All activities on the day are available at no cost and Rotary will be providing a BBQ and drinks for a gold coin donation. This year’s activities include an Aboriginal Smoking Ceremony and Story to Art Workshops, Jumping Castle, Dodge Ball, Magic Stones and Pet Rock Workshops.

A number of organisations will be attending this year’s event including Council’s Family Day Care Service and Mobile Library Van, Charles Sturt University and Mudgee TAFE. Held during International Mental Health Month - this year’s theme is ‘Creative Minds’.
The event will be held at the Rylstone Hall (corner of Louee and Cudgegong Streets) from 10am to 2pm, Wednesday 9 October.
